Im looking into some new speakers for my Cobalt. I am right now looking into some Orion XTR for the doors and rear. I have also considered Alpine.. let me know what you all got and what sounds good. Thanks

 

Stay away from the orions, they sound like ****, stock sounds better, trust me I know

It all depends on how much cash your looking to spend, for the price your going to pay for those alpines I would look at so Hertz or Focals.

If those are to expensive than look into the Infinity reference series, I had them for a while and they def. sounded better than stock

 

if you have the pioneer system the 2 ohm infinities are the way to go, if not hertz and i guess focal (lol i like hertz better... focal does sound good thou)

oh and are those orions the previous generation? they look like they could be what is now the orion cobalt. if thats the case steer clear

 

no these are the newest ones that had just came out this year..

 

oh i c (just checked their site) they are a step above the cobalt. No idea on them man. never even herd of them until now, the look good without the grill (horrible with) but sadly looks can be deceiving. Check to see if any shop locally has them and can give you a demo, otherwise its a roll of the dice
