Ss Lights

Not sure if this should go in appearance or here but... I recently got a 2007 Cobalt SS and am looking for some angel eye headlights. I'm looking at getting http://www.modernperformance.com/product/DEPO_Projector_Headlights_Chrome_Black_05-10_Cobalt/cobaltsupercharged_exterior_lightsbulbs
But have no experience with the website or these type of lights. Anyone have any ideas? Also looking to maybe use halo bulbs or whatever they're called.

Yikes, can't spend that much on them. Are these not good lights?

No, I wouldn't recommend them. They were the first thing I bought for my cobalt back in 2010. They lasted 6 months before the lense turned hazy/cloudy and started getting microcracks. Plus light output isn't very good. I got a set of retrofit stock headlights for sale with LED angel eyes and 5000k morimoto HIDs for 350

Hmm, I'm just not sure that I'm willing to spend that much on lights. It seems crazy.

Yeah those lights are just horrid. The output sucks. Your stock headlights have better light output. Your better off just going with a set of retrofits.
350-500 is not a lot for a set of retrofit headlights. I make tons of them and the results are always appraisals and big smiles.
Buy once and be done with it. You'll end up buying more than 1 set of those led headlights and before you know it, you spent more than what a good set of retros would run you

On other platforms people pay $1000+ for a set of custom retros. I have experimented with some custom cobalt retros but it gets very labor intensive. I have a set I am building right now that I cut out a lot of the stock shroud and reshaped it. I won't go into too much detail, but when I'm done I'll probably never sell them because no one will ever buy them for the price I would want.

Anyway enough rambling, just whatever you do; please don't put HIDs in your stock housings lol

U telling me. I got close to 1200 in parts alone on my retros. There are cobalts out there for that much lol

I must agree with everyone here i went thru 3 sets of lights in about 5 yrs the light output sucks bad and quality is pretty crappy but i didnt know about retros back then. Yeah price seems high for a set of lights but trust me its worth every penny you spend on them. Might as well just spend your money wisely once
