So if I can get SS speakers for like $40 I'm sure they'd be an upgrade. But would I be better off just getting brand new speakers for like $50 or 60? I guess what I'm looking for is compare, scale 1-10 of the LS stock speakers vs. the SS pioneers. Personally I'd put the LS's at 4 or 5, everything is kind of tinny now low end at all, like two cans connected by string. I've never heard the pioneer system in person.

 

yes they would be an upgrade i swapped all of mines out the sound quality is way better than the stock ls's make sure you get the tweeters with them to i give them 7.5

 

okay cus pioneer is good stuff. I just figure, if I can get lightly used SS ones cheaper than an aftermarket set...

 

yea they would be cheaper than aftermarket i got all of mine for 60 with the sub

 

if your gonna upgrade might as well spend the few extra bucks and go aftermarket

 

My ls came with the pioneer system already

but if ur gonna swap the pioneers in, might as well go all aftermarket and have even better sound quality

 

pioneer sucks. Audiobahn, MAAudio, MTX, Rockford Fosgate those are good companies.

 

I changed out my pioneer system on my ss. For aftermarket. Been so long, I dont even remember what the stock ones sounded like.
