Sub Position
Sub Position
I was just wondering if theyre are any downsides of subs facing up towards the rear deck...I have heard that you can get some sag over time is this true? I dont think it should make much of a difference in sound...
I havent seen anyone do this... But what about a suspended box? t triangular shape hung from the deck lid would put the sub aimed in a good position... Just a thought it would give you the most room possible.
My buddy did a custom thing in his trunk where the sub is were the spare goes and is level with the mat. saves room and is sick. just gotta cut a piece of wood the size of the trunk
true but cancellation is very imminent. ultimately it depends on if u want to sacrifice sound for space or whatever (the physical space is the same) facing back will be the loudest. up second and forward last. keep that in mind and if you do face them up dont blow them
well i went with a custom memphis shallow 12inch dual 4 ohmn speaker and amp and i faced it towards the trunk in other words against the back of the seats and its loud as hell for a lil 12inch didn't think it would sound so loud and have the bass only half way and bass low on the radio settings and it thumps and i still have bunch of room in the trunk will take pictures.
