television in the car

my in dash dvd has a tv option to it. has anyone actually used the antenna to get local tv stations? any good? just wondering if its worth the time to run the wire...

that would be pretty cool. but idk when you would watch it, tv while driving might not be the best idea.

My buddy used to do it in his GTP, quality wasn't great and you'd hit dead spots depending on where you were. It's still cool though.

yeah i figured the quality wouldnt be that great, but it might be cool just to have the ability when i wanted to. not like it would cost extra or anything. and i definitely wouldnt watch it while driving, big ticket in texas for that.
