Things you wish your lighting did...

So I'm working on a controller that would essentially override the way the stock lighting works. Are there any features that I've missed you all would like?

Right now I've got...

1. Low beams with high beams
2. Fog lights with high beams
3. Fog lights with DRL
4. DRL disable

I wish my projectors would go around corners like the new Acuras
but you can already turn on fogs with the DRLs

and if you run your power from your fogs and splice it into your parking lights, they stay on with the high beams and come on automatically.

We have a dual filament bulb, so impossible...
No car has this stock, easy to wire though
Just turn your lights on? I run my fogs on during the day
pull the fuse...

I have my lights wired so the low beams stay on with the high beams. I also converted my 2007 to have the DRL's as the parking lights instead of the low beams.

Not everybody is running the stock lights, and yes it's easy to wire.

I hate having to push the button every time I get in the car, I want an automatic method of turning on the foglights like most cars have.

Go pull the fuse then.

You can make all these hard wiring modifications, but my method looks cleaner and doesn't involve removing all your wires if you decide you want to go back to stock for an inspection, it can be enabled/disabled with the flick of a switch. But since you're too busy to think about that or that not everyone uses the stock lights, I'm not suprised you're too narrow minded to wonder what everybody else is thinking that you'd feel the need to end my thread.

Any non-narrow minded people wish to contribute? Lights stay on for extended periods of time after shutoff? Shorter time?

I can agree its an annoyance to hit the button. Its like 2nd nature for me to to hit it now though.

And i misread your post, my apologies. I thought you were bitching about what our car didnt do (which most dont anyways), and not ways to change what it doesnt do. (thats what i get for trying to watch football and surf )

Having a module like that would be neat. Some guy used to make a fog light switch that allowed our fogs to be on at all times. Was like $30 bucks.
