Trying to find pioneer sub wires

So i'm trying to find where my sub wires are...vehicle had an aftermarket stereo installed that was stolen. I can find all of the other speaker wires, but the sub wires are just gone. I can't find them anywhere. I can see the four wires at the sub and it all looks oem back there. I was thinking they might come in behind the panel that has the hood release, but I can't figure out how to remove the panel. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry but i am a little lost as to what exactly you are looking for. Because you say you see the wires in the trunk, but the wires are gone? like do you mean the wires between the sub and the harness in the trunk? do you have the stock pioneer sub back there? and are you an ss or base model?

Yeah, I see the wires in the trunk, but I don't see them under the dash! It's a 06 Cobalt LT Coupe (non-ss) with options UQ3 & US8.

I fixed my own problem. I was assuming the sub wires were in the same loom as the speaker wires. I used a telephone toner to locate them in the other loom :-)
