Umm, sub time!!

I'm trying to decide which sub to buy, and i know you all know your audio stuff... SO i need your help.
JBL comp sub OR Alpine type E/R OR Kicker CompVR
If they suck, that sucks because this is what i want...
Please help!

what do you like to listen too?

JBL is good for tight punch bass
kicker makes better big boomie subs
and alpine is an all around player

remember enclosures make a huge difference as well

no offence but a type R is a better sub then the W1, it would be more compairable to the W3

I was asking $400 for them because they're coming with a box and a 1400 watt amp. They are 12" as well. I had them in my Celica and I'm not going to be putting them in the Cobalt (I need the trunk space) Give me and offer.

JL Audio W6 or W7 series. The new W3's are probably pretty decent also. JL makes some of the best subs in the world, don't take my word for it though, read some of the reviews on JL's web site. I have a 10w6 and I love it!
