upgrade plans... feedback?

So my plan for now is to pick up a set of Infinity Kappa 62.7i (6.5") and a set of 692.7i (6x9"). I'll just dump the Pioneer paper crap, splice them into the doors & deck and use the stock amps & sub for now. The Kappas are 2Ohm speakers, 94db/WM sensitivity, so I think the volume level should be acceptable using the stock amp. Later on I'll pick up a 4-channel amp and power them off that.

Any feedback of suggestions from ppl who have already gone this route?

Im running 5 1/4 kicker ks component set wired to a 60x2 visonik amp for my doors and this souds good.Im waiting till sunday to put my 6.5 Ma audio mid bass on the deck lid, they will be wired to another 60x2 visonik amp and I think that will make a good set up.For you, maybe I cant sugest to put a 6.5 instead of 6x9 in the rear. But in the past Ive use 2 set of infinity speakers in my cavy and they works good so I think youre on a good way.

u don't need to splice into the speaker lines just get the GM speaker adapter plugs.
