so i wanna up grad my front and rear speakers, and also throw in a new sub and amp, i dont like hugh bass just something where i know its there but wont give me a head ach..for example i use to run 2 12inch alpine type x subs to giver u an idea. so any ideas would help out thanks

look at hertz energy 6.5 and 6X9 coax, amp bypass, new radio and dual 2 ohm DD 1508 off of a rf T500-1bdCP

 

i wanna do the same but everything in our cars ****** rattles like crazy and i cant stand it

 

Mine doesn't rattle at all Only my POS stock rear speakers

 

my door bezels do and def. my rear speakers but thats cause there junk lol

 

I've been lucky so far from what I hear. No door sag, so sill scraping, nothing. Only the damn sun roof But that will be fixed under warrenty. But not to threadjack. I want to upgrade my speakers too.

maybe cobalts were made better speaker wise than g5s lol idk but mine sucks

 

I'm not sure. Did they have the upgraded pioneer system? If they did, I would assume they had the same speakers.

I thought the Pioneer upgrade was for all speakers. I could be wrong. I dunno, just assuming. It's ok, I don't mind making an ass out myself. Hahahaha

yes the pioneer package upgrades all speakers but still its marginal. but my car doesn't have anything close to the pioneer package anymore

 

wouldn't he want a dual 1? the bdcp models tend to harness the same amount of output at 1 and 2 ohms...same power easier on amp.

 

that is true. with the new bdcp amps you have to choose between more overall power or easier on the amp and more efficiency a dual 4 instead of a dual 2 would get the same nominal power but once the impedance rises you get less power

 

oh, derp didn't know that sub was dual 4 or dual 2 only...don't know too much about DD. excuse the dual 1 comment. but yea i see what you mean, just wondering, not trying to be a dick or nothing.

 

nah its cool dont even trip. your right man if it was me id probably go with the 2 ohm option. but working in the buis ive seen most people go with the "loudest" option regardless
