fitment isnt he big problem. if you try hard enough you can get anything to fit. **** i could have done 2 18s if i wanted

the main problem is airflow. Unless you really plan on doing it up crazy then trust me go with a 12. a 15" speaker will not be louder then a 12 if it cant flow more air then a 12. the loudest most practical system would be 2 12s ported

theres alot of good speakers out there but remember the box makes a big difference in both how loud it gets and how good it sounds. If your looking to get loud and sound good check out digital designs. Kikers would get loud but squares dont tend to "sound" good

true what is the maximum height of a box you could fit into the trunk? because i tried putting a 2 12 inch mtx box in from the entrance of the trunk and the back seat but it still didnt fit

I had 2 12" Kicker CVR's and they sounded awesome, so if you want loud but also sound awesome, I would keep these in mind. I did have a little trouble getting the box in the trunk, so just make sure you know the dimensions you have to work with. I had a hell of a time getting mine in, had to put it in backwards and slanted through the back seat and then turn it once it was in lol.

17 in is gonna be way too big. Youre gonna wanna look for something more along the lines of 14 or around there

lol I have 1 digital design 8 inch 1508 SV 4 ohm sub thats enough for me. (box is tuned for 38hz)

Im sure it does better than several of the 10 inch and 12 inch setups some of the people have here.

i have 1 RE SX12 with a hifonics 1000/1 rms amp with a box i build to spec for the sub in a slot box, the f'in sub hits hard and low makes my windows flex when lowered a bit, so imo that is more than enough bass and im only at half power on the amp, full power makes my windshield wipers vibe, but its just too much for the ears...... so i would say one quality 12, build your box according to the sub spec and make it so it will still fit, i used an online sub box calculator.......

Really one 12'' or 10'' is all you need, save the space and weight, and get any mainstream sub with a huuge magnet.

I like my incriminator audio subs. Box is quite large, but it is on the larger side for these subs.... just dont mind the wiring this was taken a while ago when i just put it in, all cleaned up now :]
