What do i need?

I had a nice little system, 2 10" kenwoods and a kenwood kac 8104D amp. Last night I traded a kid my old BMX bike for 2 12" alpine subs. I connected my amp up to the subs but they wouldn't hit. So then I disconnected one of the subs and now the other one hits just as hard as the 2 10" that I had in. What do I need to get both Subs hitting? another amp? If so how do I wire 2 amps in?

you have the subs wired out of phase.... swap the pos/neg on ONE of the subs. and adjust the gain accordingly
