What went wrong?

Hey guys I just installed my alpine CDA 105 in my car. All seemed to go right until I decided to take it for a test drive. On the test drive the I noticed that my head unit will turn on and off just cut in and out. So basically I turn my signal lite on and the head unit shuts off. and about 20-30 seconds later after the signal lite is off the head unit turns back on. What is the problem here I am totally stumped.

I used the PAC module interface and harness to install if that makes any difference. Everything worked good until I started driving it.

What year and trim is your car?
What is the model # of the harness and interface you used?

well its a 2005 Pontiac Pursuit 4 door sedan. with no on-star or no pioneer sound system. Its just the base model. The Pontiac Pursuit is basically a re badged cobalt. instead of Chevrolet badges its Pontiac. they look the same and they are basically the same. and the Module/interface that I used is PAC C2R-GM11b.

i had this problem with my 07 ss and it was the pac black box that was doing it install went all fine till i left the parking lot and turned my turn signal on and the headunit would shut off like yours is so i took it back and they swapped the pac box out for another one and it worked fine after that
