What is wrong with my new Switchbacks?

I got my switchbacks and resisters today, and I put them in as I thought I was supposed to.

I put one end of the resister into the Blue Wire, and the other into the Black wire. Both wires being the ones running from the main female headlight plug, to the turn signal socket. There is no hyperflash.

Problem: Signals run white like normal, but also flash white when I turn the signal on. They never switch to amber. If I turn the bulb around in the socket, they will flash amber when the signal is on, but are never on when the signal isnt.

So.. what could the problem be?

I got them from vleds.com.

I took them out multiple times and flipped them around. It's either amber while turning only, or white while running and turning. And its the same with bith sides Wtf?

Well i bought the 6 ones.

The odd thing is that before i hooked the drivers side resister in, I hooked the bulb up. It had the same problems, but i noticed no hyperflash. Wtf?

I had mine do this after about a year, only did it on one side, I just assumed a bad bulb, never really looked into it.
