Its not a mod its factory. Its option code is 007 and it was a no cost option if you told the dealer your wife/gf is a bitch.

I got it too!

i hate the low fuel one. i wanna know how low. it should say "LOW FUEL--10MI", then "LOW FUEL--5MI", then "LOW FUEL--FUMES", then "LOW FUEL--TOLD YOU". I almost got the latter this morning, LOL.

I've gotten ICE POSSIBLE a bunch of times, my 350Z did the same thing at 37 degrees.

I have a gas receipt sitting in my car from a couple days ago for 13.001 gallons.

But water can still be a liquid below 32F.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercooling

I recommend not drinking supercooled water, it's not pleasant... VERY cold, and will freeze in your throat on the way down (even if it's only a few degrees below freezing)

when it says "Fuel range low" that means you have about 50 miles you can drive left... when it say "Low Fuel" that means you have about 10, so get some damn gas...

Dammit I was just reading the whole thread to see if anyone had caught it yet.

Anyway, I hate the LOW FUEL thing. When it comes on, the needle is already just about to the line. Like maybe touching the line. It would be a little more useful if it came on at about 1/8th or so.

I think GM put the warning at 38 degrees because it's possible for ice to form on bridges when it's windy -- wind chill factors in then.

I've put about 35 miles on my car AFTER it started to say low fuel. You can probably get 40-45 miles out of it after low fuel comes on, but I wouldn't push it more than 30 miles unless you have to.

Sometimes my gauges tell me if I have to use the restroom.

And I've gotten the gas pump to put in 12.8 gallons before. I had like .2 gallons of gas. lol.
