where can i put this remote bass wire?
my stereo is completly stock and i dont wanna change head units and i dont wanna run a toggle switch up to the dash so where could i put a remote bass wire? im not big on running it to the fuse panel like some do so i was thinking couldnt i run it to the stock amp??
run it to the sunroof fuse, or the windshield fuse, windshield doesn't have rap i think, and try both sides of the fuse and see results im not next to my car but i can upload some pics of my set up that works.
no not at all. the remote bass wire is connected directly to the amp and nothing else (99.9% of cases) so the op can put it wherever he wants. sorta like asking where to put a sticker on ur car, ya there's places that make the most "sense" but its really wherever the **** u want it
now if hes talking about the remote turn on wire theres several options he has but the safest noob place is in the fuse box. other options are factory amp turn on wire or the rapp wire for the car BUT this is best done if you can properly test wires to verify they are correct
