Where to tap the LOC into??
I've heard to tap into the rear speakers, the wires running to the sub, and even the signal from the head unit but before it gets to the amp. I'm going to just throw out the last choice, more work than i wanna do. Is there any benefit to running to one or the other? also what are the positive and negatives to each speaker, or the sub? thanks.

I may end up doing that, but i really have no desire to tear into the dash today. As for as my other choices, anyone know what wire is what on the sub wires for the factory subwoofer??? Theres 2 bluish ones and two greenish ones, one green has a black stripe and one blue has a black stripe. The only thing that gets me is one other wires has a white stripe and the last wire is solid, any suggestions?
PINOUTS Sticky at the top of the page will tell you what you need to know.
BTW-It takes all of 30 secondes to get the trim around the stereo off and then its just 4 bolts. (7mm or 9/32) If you have a drill or even a power screwdriver with the right attachment it takes another 30 seconds, if you have to use a rachet, then 2 mins top. In any case in the amount of time it took you to type that last post you could have had the stereo out.

best location for the LOC is gonna be on your stock sub wires then behind the HU then off the stock 6X9s then off the stock fronts
Mind you if you dont have a stock amp (pioneer) then it really doesnt matter. Your not loosing much power from the front to the back. Only reason to put it there is if you ever think ur getting a new HU. then you dont have to re run wires
