ok so today its been raining really really hard here in phx.... so i get in my balt and head out for work, and i turn on the winshield wipers as i would normally do....

the wipers go back and forth about 5 times then it all of a sudden stops.... anyone know why this is?

when they stop, i just restart them and then they stop again.... hmmmm...

I've had a similar problem. I'll go from intermittent to the LOW setting and the wipers wont work. But if I go from HI to LOW settings then they work. WTF GM?

the fuse for the wipers are located in the passenger side kick panel... i checked it out and it was fine, nothing was wrong with it... i looked in the fuse box under the hood and they are only wiper relays... i wont touch those...

i dont see why GM wont cover it under warranty, it should.

Also, today it got even worse.... now, when i turn on the car, the wipers turn on by themselves even though its on the off setting.. wtf? its really pissing me off... will be goin in the morning to see whats up with it.
