wiring problems

wiring my double din stereo with an aftermarket harness and ran into a few problems. there is a dark brown wire coming out of the harness and none out of the stereo harness, closest thing is gold, does anyone know what this wire is? also have two red wires with a white strip on them, and on the harness it has only a solid and an orange with a stripe? also on random wire from the harness thats green and a white stripe, i have done a lot of stereos but these all seem weird to me. what did you hook your power constants too? any help would be great

constant will be one of the red/white wires. test it with a test light to see which it is. one will be a thicker gauge wire on the OEM harness and the other probably wont have a wire on the OEM harness
orange/white is illumination. not needed and dont connect it unless both sides are orange/white.
brown is usually mute. this is done using steering wheel controns in balts tho so skip it.
green white I'm not sure....you should have all these labelled on the wire harness packaging though.

test the power to each with a test light, that should tell you which to use
The wire harness I used had no yellow lines and 2 red/whites. the one red/white was the constant and had to run my own ACC since I didnt use the PAC harness.
