)Why would we need two screens to tell us something is wrong, unless the ebay one does more like give us the codes as they happen (that would be nice).

You don't need that fancy wiring harness/dash kit to install and aftermarket deck.. Unless you have onstar and want to keep onstar... this is because onstar goes through the radio so you can make calls and what not through it
And those decals would be alot better if it wasn't such a wild font, if it was the same font as all the cobalt badgeing it would be ultra tight

Because #1 ebay isint the source for cutting edge stuff (that works) and #2 if it was or did what it said, there would be a lot of onstar subscribers with decks buying the **** out of it.

Not realy. Because when it comes to retaining onstar with aftermarket deck it should be done by a professional. They would refer the customer to the proper part. Which this just isnt it for the cobalt
Because people who are smart would not buy this even if they thought it would work or not wether or not it was being sold on ebay. The smart person would go to the local installer and get the part from them. I know what you're saying. This part will work for the malibu's as I have seen it in a Metra catalogue. But the add is incorrect about it working in a cobalt
Does it do more? Hell if I know, But a few things you can do is change the language and other small things. I had it installed like the 2nd day I had the car. As for onstar, I don't have it so I don't see the loss. However, it actually is pretty neat inside the car, gives off a blue glow inside the car and it's great as another "guage." Not like I paid much for it, $10
.
Ugh that didnt hepl your case much. So you paid 10 bucks for another usless guage. Thats like the shipping on an interceptor guage which would actually be useful (not to be a *****).

That is the ONLY thing that will retain OnStar in a COBALT.

Well I was refering to what you had said about it not working, didn't know that it was in conjunction to what you were saying about the onstar...oh well...
This isn't really something to argue about, anywho, haven't seen that other model before.
