I know man, nothing against you. Just seems that the rules apparently say Cobalts only because people got butthurt about an Ion winning what was Car of the month at that point a while back. Not that I would submit, but you know everyone would jump all over an ion owners ass because he's submitting for Cobalt of the month without being a Cobalt, yet G5 owners can? Just doesn't make sense to enforce partial rules.

I don't want to hijack your thread, but how do you rate those BC Racing coilovers? I'm trying to find in-depth reviews but can't seem to find any...

 

don't need to be lowered just needs some lips and skirts

 

i think a g5 could definitely be in the running for cotm. the g5 and cobalt are almost identical minus a few small appearance differences. i could see an ion getting flamed for it tho. nice g5 btw! got my vote for being different

 

they are nice. they have been revised since i got them with better spring rates and better rear shocks. no real complaints yet, but the a few of the components are starting to develop a tiny amount of surface rust. being in michigan, thats expected.
