225/45R17 on colbat SS2.4L

Well today I finally decided to get a new set of tires since mine were worn out. I also decided to up-size from my old Tire size.

I wanted General Exclaim UHP tires, but the back order on them was 4-6 weeks, and I don't think my tires would last that long. I got a deal instead on the shops last set of tires in my size.

They are Cooper Zeon ZPT

I also upsized my tires from a 205/50R17 to a 225/45R17.

I like the look of the tire a lot, and it offsets the car much better (I always thought the stock tire was too small).

The only downside to the tire from what I've read and noticed is it is loud. It likes to make a lot of noise, but with the radio on, it isn't too noticable. It seemed to handle to the wet just as well (or bad) as my pirelli's did too. Since it is raining today, I'll have to try out its dry handling another day.

Now I know there are many tires better then this one, but there are two reasons I bought it: 1. It is cheap and I go through a lot of Kilometres a year, which brings us to 2. I needed a high treadwaer rating (380).

And yes, it was raining quite heavily while I was taking these.

I'll get more pics when it is nice out.

I guess those General Exclaim UHP tires have become pretty popular.

Glad I got some before they became scarce, the treadware is great too!

You did the same thing I did...except I went to a 215 width with a Kumho tire. Def makes the car look better. I'll have to post pics eventually.
