As an aside, are only the spokes polished on these 17" wheels, or does it just look like that because of the angle and the lighting? I hadn't noticed that before on the 2.4L SS! If the whole rim isn't polished, that is really cheap of GM.

 

No only the outside area is polished, taht is why I traded mine for SS/SC rims ^ ^

I think only the outside polished looks really good. I kinda like the way the inside of the spokes are kinda flat.

Guess it is just my taste. I would prefer the whole thing to be uniform. If I am not mistake, the 18" polished wheels on the Malibu, Monte-Carlo, and Impala have the whole rim polished, not just the spokes. Maybe I am wrong about that though.

what do the polished 18s that GM offers look like then? are they just polished on the face too?

 

in that 2nd pic..did you have to cut holes in your bumper to put that lip on?
