I am the original owner of my Cobalt SS/SC. I think we have a great platform. My initial goals were to enjoy the car and make it an all around well-balanced car. With that said, I’ve invested in parts over the years to enhance the car to perform not only as efficient as possible, but also getting the added power to the ground without worrying of always breaking something. Essentially, the car is a ton of fun with my current setup. Our M62 doesn’t get much credit around here, but with proper fueling, cooling and a tight suspension setup - it can still be quite enjoyable. I plan to push the M62 a bit more, and then eventually head over to a TVS. Though I love the turbo swapped LSJs and LNFs… blown cobalts seem to be a dying breed and I like to remain unique.

Huge shootout to my tuner 09CobaltSS1… he is always putting passion into his work/tunes (highly recommended)

Thanks to all the members here that have lead and innovated our platform. I would also like to thank my dudes Bass_Waves (Luis) and rivaladore (Matt) for all the support/help.

Love the car, very sick all around setup. I think it may have been you who finally talked me into going the 1" spacer route haha.

Don't need extended studs if you run a 1'' 5x110 to 5x110 adapter. This is what im running on my car, I assume the OP is running something similar

nope those are the ones he's running i'm pretty sure! the important part is to have the 65.1 mm hub bore in them. when i had all 4 corners 1" spaced my rear was rubbing bad though (no fender rolling) so i got 1" spacers (not hub adapters) and extended wheel studs from zzp. also needed open ended lug nuts

yes... and I also had to grind down my stock studs down a bit to get a flush fitment with the spacers... thats the only modification needed to get them on.
