Yeah I am going for black top but I might leave the wing, not sure yet. If I do leave it, I am painting the wing black with the holders red, except for where the wing goes thru.

Hey how is that OTTP H/E?

 

It fit perfectly, covers the whole bumper very nicely, and does a nice job (prevents my SC paint from falling! LOL! j/k) the only thing I am pissed about is the drain plug which I am going to change tomorrow lol. I have hit that thing twice already lol, but it's no biggie.

one thing I have to ask: did you paint all those engine parts yourself?

a friend of mine did the paintjob, I helped take off the parts and make it easy for him to spray over lol.

Lol the walkway goes straight to the sidewalk so no bumps to go in. My car gives the white house a great look because of the red lol.

 

hmmmm what kind of paint did you use? Painting the SC can cause greater heatsoak if you use the wrong paint!! Just a warning

 

It's a flat black paint, no clear.

 

is it high heat engine enamel?

 

If thats the real paint color and not photo shopped then that is a sick ass color

I had no photoshop used in there, just lightning

 

if its high heat enamel, then you should check you IAT's just in case. That stuff acts like an insulator! A simple cooling mod will solve the problem though (I wouldnt want to take off the paint if I were you). An icebox for the stock h/e or a dual pass will be good!

But maybe your heat exchanger is enough haha

 

I might be getting the dual pass soon, so that should add up to help more if needed. It's maintaining quiet well though

 

i love red and black...very sexy. Everything looks good minus those eyelids. My personal thing, i think they look horrible on the cobalt.

 

Thanks for the comment, I really like those eye lids. I think it blends in with the front of the car and makes the car look meaner But everyone has different opinions
