Leafy's SS and Cruisn's GT Photoshoot

Myself and another Forum Member (Cruisn) decided to get some shots of the SS and his new Pontiac Pursuit GT today... on a brisk, windy but beautiful Feb. 5th.

We also had a chance to line up from a dig, SS/SC VS 2.4 VVT (5 speed), he ended up spinning in first and landed at 3000rpm in second... I took him by about 3-4 cars by about 130km/h, still pulling.

Just to bump up the spirits of the VVT people, that motor is definately no slouch, the GT was very quick and I'm sure is going to be an awesome competitor when more mods come out for this platform!

Killer car Matt!

Sean

Nice pics. Like the Cobalt better than the Pontiac Pursuit. GM should have done more to differentiate the cars in my opinion. I'd feel like a copy cat driving that. No offence to Pursuit owners though.

By the way, I see you too are an Edmontonian. When did you get your car? I saw a black one late Aug near WEM. Was that you? I haven't seen too many of these cars around. I have seen a black, red, arrival blue, and an SOM. Probably more in town though.

I see you are still running on the P zeros!!! Gotta love a winterless winter! Do they work when it is cold this time of year? Hope we don't see snow for your sake.

My car will be here soon. Can't wait, except for the paying for it part of course.

Got mine last September, but was at WEM yesterday...

The P Zeros are fine, nothing wrong with them as an all season... you'll find on a really cold day that traction might be a slight issue, but that's about it.

Thanks for the comments on the car, I am really enjoying it. I was suprised at how good that engine moves, we shall have to race again, maybe I won't spin and mess up, lol.

For sure, that would be killer with the Orange, Blue and Black.

Wow, I actually like the Pursuit better, I for sure thought I would hate it, but the grill fits better IMO.

They both have their place, I think GM should have worked harder to differentiate the Cobalt from the Pursuit, kinda like how the Sunfire looked different from the Cavalier... but it is only for the Canadian market (yes, yes, and Mexico's G4 too) but it still looks good and is a good base to start personalizing for own benefit.
