Cool Nice one

Now that's a nice looking car ! The spoiler and the drop will look great once they've been done. Good luck and have fun.

I honestly love seeing base model cobalts for some reason. It just reminds me that GM finally found out how to make a decent looking car.

Car looks great mang!

Looking good. What do your DRLs/signals look like? Are they still orange?

Hey Wikky, quick question: when you upgraded to the 18's, how bad did that mess up the speedo? I know alot of you guys change to larger rims, but I wondered how much it threw the speedo off. Is it corrected somehow through the computer or what?

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I'm new to modding myself and wanted to go maybe 17's.

P.S. Car looks sick, wish I had the money now to do half the mods you have.

I've thought about doing the same things to my headlights on my LS because almost anything with a dark tinge looks good on silver . One question though, have you noticed reduced lighting when driving at night (assuming you checked this before the modifications to the headlamps) or did it have very little impact on the efficiency of the lights?

Everything goes really nice with the colour as well, great job so far, keep it up. I like as well that the entire lower bumper is painted all blue on the base models, as soon as I added foglights to mine the plastic fillers are black which kinda stick out...might have to look into getting those painted silver as well.

Thumbs up

right now i just have the stock corner lights in which are clear, eventually ill probably pick up a pair of the sylvania silverstar corners, those look nice, also my 18's, i think they might have only messed up the speedo by maybe about 2-3 mph, i really dont know for sure but it doesnt seem like much ive had em for a while now, they are damani tech-5 in gunmetal, got em at wheelsnext.com

krzykrl-black looks really good with painted headlights! you should try it out

alright heres a quick pic i just took without the license plate bracket

argh! Your getting a rear spolier??? Just say NO!

I think your car looks great without it---very clean AND original! Every car in the world has a spoiler on these days---and 95% are non functional.

Seeing your spoilerless car just hardens my resolve to NOT get it when I get a Cobalt.

Other then that you car looks great---rims make or break a car---they added immensely to your ride.

What options are on your car?

What about a nice chrome exhaust pipe (or two)? That would make it look less plain

need to put a tip on that exhaust. I have no idea why GM left just a raw tip sticking strait out the back....

215/35/18 which made me mad cuz i thought i was getting 225/40/18 but when i called and asked they said thats what our installation guide or whatever said would fit your vehicle, im like what? cobaltss's stock come with 18's with 40 series tires, but oh well, ill probably get new tires within the next year but after i drop it it will look a lot better too, the tires arent too bad they are hankooks, they were orignially gonna give me nankang so im glad i got a better brand

yeah im probably gonna order from wheelsmax, but i want 225/45/17's and i think ill probably have the same issue u did. They want to put 215/40's in there packages cause its what is "suggestsed". I dont want to lower the ride till other people have had theres done for a while. The 225/45/18's i saw on a base at the dealer had maybe like 2in of gap, instead of like 4 or whatever it is stock. Looked much cleaner. I cant remember where but i once found a site that sold kumo ecstas 711 for like 80 each. It was posted on j-body.org, if i order seperate ill have to see if i can find that site again.

yea make sure you tell them on the phone what size tires you want, mine took over 3 weeks to get here thats why i wouldnt deal with wheelsnext.com again, plus they gave me the wrong tire size, and i called on three different wheels before mine and they were out of stock on all of them even though they list them on their site, alos mine were 899 on the site and he told me they were 999 with everything i need, after looking at the site shipping is free and i know lug nuts dont cost 100 bucks so im not sure why it was an extra 100 bucks

looking good!! I got a base cobalt same color I like the headlight tint the most. the rims probabley cost more because alot of aftermarket rims need hubcentric rings, some places include these as well as balance and valve stems ,others lure you in with a low upfront price and bang you afterwards for extras. my base coupe came with the ls style spoiler i think it looks good. I think you can even get one in the factory color from your dealer. nice job so far good luck with her!!!
