last we went to the track he as runnin like a 12.1 but could get NO traction at all

Hey, what GP Clubs are you in? I got a ton of friends with modified GTP's and GP GT's. Some of the GTP's are in the Low 13's as well, and one guy re-built his engine over the winter with mostly race parts. Should be in the 12's easily this summer.

Another guy has a GP GT and put on a custom turbo kit. I watched that guy run a 11.9 before 2 of his cyclinders quit.

These guys are in grandsontario, the Quebec/Ontario GP club.

I know i used to have a 3400 V6 car that i ran nitrous, but i got ridda it cuz it was a TURD


I kept gettin blown away by 4cyl cars.



I had to realize the horrible truth that there is So much more that u can to with most 4 bangers, than 6's


thats why at EVERY bracket race, the V6 cars are the ones runnin the slowest times.

I just don't want some dood commin on these boards with a FI V6 and think hees superior to everyone, cuz that ain't the case. These cars are ALL there, and stock to stock, MUCH superior to a GTP. Don't get me worng though, i still think my buddies GTP is HOTT

You do realize that A LOT of STOCK GTPs run mid 14s. Some factory freaks even ran high 13s stock.

I know alotta fast V6 cars, but facts are facts. at ALL the dragstrips, the V6 cars are the slowest.


I used to run my car 2 nights a week at the dragstrip, and nowadays we do stuntshows during race nights, so i know enough about what cars run.


Put a stock cobalt SS nextto a stock GTP, and its gonna excel in EVERY aspect, 0-60 quartermile, slalom course, 60-0 braking. EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Sure some Cobalts will beat a GTP in the 1/4 mile & some won't. Why? Different drivers & different cars.
I wouldn't doubt the slalom or braking. The GTP is a 3500+ lb tank. It's a family sedan not a sport compact. (How does it feel knowing that is faster than you?) Think before you post.

Now come back with a legit argument & then we can talk.

We all realize that compared to the other GTP's on the the GP forums, ur car ain't ****, so u had to come over here and try and talk ****, well dood, ur car ain't **** over here either. so sell that hoopdie and get urself a big wheel, b4 u embarrass urself anymore


And yeah, i'm talkin about my old car that i ran NOS in. Yah know what dood, my old car got more reconition than ur ride EVER will. I don't even own it anymore and its still in at least 3 magazines a month. I'd put my old car up aginst urs anyday and smoke ur ass.

Stunt show don't have anything to do with quarter times, i was just stateing that we are at the track during race nights, so i watch more racing than most people do, so i knwo whats slow and what ain't.


So in conclusion, go take mom's car home, and load the baby seats back in it b4 she gets pissed at u, and u end up grounded.
