My new SS

Got it July 5th. I love it!

Does anyone know what the hell is with the discoloration on the engine? I tried to wash it and it wouldn't come off.

Welcome. Maybe something that they used to put a shine on the engine?

Thanks all! So far I just love the car - I wish I could stay off the pedal so much, I could get better gas mileage! Oh well....

As far as the discoloration my car had the same thing. Just get some simple green and spay it on a rag and scrub it out. It should come right out. Good luck.

off topic time. srt-killer, did you really have to pick such a childish name? Seriously, that was pretty immature to pick that name...oh well.

I can't wait for the AEM intake to come in this week! Really get that blower whining! Oh god... theres goes more gas!

I filled up yesterday and I have a 1/4 tank left today. I'm always playing in that boost. I just wish it made that turbo sound when it shifts - that Woooossshhhhh. I'd be screwed if it did.

Nothing beats a brand new car.

Blow off valves are annoying. Nobody understands them unless they are into cars. Sounds like a snease

I just think its neat - that's all. I realize there completely pointless with the roots supercharger.

Keep in mind, I'm very easily amused.

I'm still trying to get my wife to upgrade to the SS/SC, to no avail. She says one fast car is enough. Whats with that?

Congrats and Welcome to the Cobalt family. You came to the right place. I have learned some much from these folks in the few shorts months since I have joined. I hope you will also.
