well its a known fact that dual exhaust on a N/A car looses hp or at best, does not gain any

try TurboTechRacing, they have some good exhausts for cobalts

i would say dont worry about the speed of your vehicle it is an lt afterall. Duals can look good on anything if you do it right. That doesn't look right. Get rid of those tips and purchase smaller ones that stand out less. This way someone wont look at your duals and think what a ******* ricer. They will think it looks streamline. Then lower the car. It will look really nice. So keep duals get different tips. Lower car.

The exhaust is bad, like 1stbluSS said, if you could get something a little more subtle then it might not look too bad but you're losing power. There's no way you "added about 20hp" like your car domain site says and anyone that knows cars will know you're lying about it. If anything you probably lost about 5hp. And even with a higher flow, more efficient exhaust you're looking at about a max gain of maybe 8-10hp and about 5-7lbs/ft of torque.

Do some research on the exhausts out there, go with a good quality cat back and don't expect to get the gains the company claims. Search the forums and find people with their actual dyno results. That's the only true way to gauge what kind of improvement you can expect to gain.

not sure how dual exhaust gives you 20hp on an N/A 2.2.. ?? if anything your losing HP because there is no back pressure now.

Let me rephrase that, its a known fact that 4 cyl N/A cars lose hp with a dual exhaust because of the lack of back pressure

i like the dual exhaust but u need some sort of rear valance or the ss/sc bumper so that there is more bumper hanging around the exhaust and it isnt just dangling there

No its not...it is a well known fact that any exahust on an N/A car only adds a couple HP though.

I have had both dual exhaust and single exhaust and there is little to no difference between the two...and overall gains aren't that great either.

oh btw are you sure you have 255/45/17 tires because those don't look very wide at all...

Drop it, drop it now, or put super swampers on the wheels to fill the empty space! Props on modding your car, but the dual exhaust doesn't look good because it doesn't make sense, 4 bangers don't need it.

i hope you took off the dealership stickers and yea lose the dual exhaust, lower, and it will look good, those tires are not 255 probaly 215 or 205...and whoever said you have an lt dont worry about speed can bite me by summer my car should be able to walk an ss/sc quite easily
