nows the time to buy one. I think i am gonna look for a harley instead. less chance for me to kill myself with a cruiser.

luckly there have been no fatalities on sportbikes this year (around my area). Although quite a few of us have went down (including myself).

if your going for a harley, it should be a v-rod.
a few weeks back i saw one at the track do a 12.1 in the quarter.
considering that sportbikes were running from 10.5 (my time ) to 12.5 (a '94 zx-7r), and that it's a crusier, thats very impressive.

Been riding bikes for about 3 years, but this is my first sportbike.
When i downed mine, i hit a gravel patch on an on-ramp.
No biggy though, $600 (USD) fixes her to new... one fairing piece, a peg and a bar end.

I had a 2002 R6 as my first streetbike, though I grew up on dirtbikes and quads. I miss that bike so much it isn't even funny. I want another one, but $ situation says no way.
