Need Help RIGHT NOW

The other day i drove up to Fenlen Falls for Their local car show (not that bad)

And on my way home i gut stuck behind a line up of cars not moving fast at all.. I noticed they where painting the roads. well all the tucks that where painting moved half off the road so traffic could pass.. SO WE ALL WENT AROUND THE TRUCKS

TWO DAYS AGO A FRIEND TOLD ME I HAD ROAD PAINT ON MY WINDSHEILD

Yesterday i noticed it everywhere HOOD, FRONT BUNBER, DOORS, Rear Bumber, Tail Lights, Fenders, WHeel wells, everywhere

ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO GET THIS STUFF OFF..
I have gotten all the paint off the glass and the taillights and the headlights

My dad gave me this stuff he calls white gas (used for lanterns or the bug torches)
and i tested it on a small peice and it came off, but am reluctant to do the whole car in it

NOW I HAVE CALLED THE MUNICAPALITY OF DURHAM AND THEY ARE GOING TO GET BACK TO ME CAUSE THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED AND LEFT A MESSAGE WITH SECRITARY

PLEASE HELP....

Hopefully you have a coat of wax over your factory paint. Try using that "goo-gone" as mentioned above and it should remove it.

Doubt that Goo Gone will work on road paint. I would suggest going to the auto parts store and see what they recommend.

There shouldn't be any problems with the white gas, today's factory paints can even be cleaned with lacquer thinner. You're only concern should be how flammable white gas is... might want to try clay barring your car first. JMO

It was a good thought The most likely cause now is that the paint has settled in and baked on the car now. Only some type of thinner (recommended above) would help out in this situation. I would be very careful what is used on the car as it may come and haunt you.

I would see if the dealership has to say above removing paints that they approve that can remove this road paint. If you do it yourself and it does more damage then good your going to be in for a suprise.

First thing I would try is to buy a painters clay bar, buy both a red and blue one red should work it's for heavier paint problems the blue would work for overspray or if some idiot thinks it's cool to graffiti your ride Had it happen to me if all else fails,If your car has a good paint job and by good I mean base coat clear coat, believe it or not you can use paint thinner from an auto paint store I know it sounds crazy but the body shop I worked at we had to remove this crap all the time just don't get carried away with the rubbing part, you'll rub the paint right off. Wash and wax all should then be right in the world.

Buy just plain old clay bar and give it a shot, they sell it at any auto parts store. Stuff works great for removing most things from paint. Best of all it will not ruin your paint job. If that doesn't work I would take it to a body shop. It might cost you more now, but it will preserve your paint in the long run.
