I appreciate you (and any others) wasting your vote on me.
When you run again I'll critique that bich.
It's really hard coming up with bad things to say about these cars sometimes. I'm a car guy and love Cobalts. I love my 'balt more than cars that cost twice as much.
Even though I may not approve of someone's mod path I can appreciate what has been done to a car.
This month is awesome. Although Brent is gonna win hands down it's great to see NINE people entering and TWO others that wanted to get in but missed the deadline. And to think FCOTM died for a few months and almost never came back. Psssshhhh.
It would be so good getting 10+ each month.
For everyone running, don't let the low number of votes get you down. You've got to run again and again. Keep in mind that this month there are eight cars competing for half of the votes. There are eight guys with great cars that aren't gonna get a lot of love.
It's yours if you want it. lol
I kind of feel bad after doing this. A lot of emotion, time and money goes into building a car. When you're proud of that and want to show it off, it hurts to hear negative things about your ride. When someone trashes my car and what I've done to it, I can laugh it off and so forth but deep down it sucks. It really sucks when you're putting something that you're really proud of out there for the world to see and someone says you and/or your car are stupid. It's like going on American Idol to discover you can't sing because everyone lied to you your whole life just to be nice.
It's human nature to seek acceptance and to feel like you belong. Because of this, I hate bashing other people's rides. It's especially bad if you know the person is doing the best that they can with what they've got or they are brave enough to try something different only to get ridiculed by the masses.
I know it's just a forum and it's the web and most of the people on here are younger but still..... My personal opinion is that if someone doesn't have something nice to say about my ride, then I wish they would just keep it to themselves. I also believe in treating others the way you'd want them to treat you. So.... me doing this each month kind of goes against what I really am about.
I'm not a *****. I swear. LOL

lol i have been messing with my submission thread. made it look better since it looked like it took me 5 minutes to do, which originally took me almost an hour. i just spent 30 minutes making it look pretty. now i need a photographer for better pictures. that will come once my car gets dropped.

Well for me it was between keiser and riceburner. But keisers LSJ > LNF cover put you over the top lol. I want one! Keiser you got my vote.
Realllllly wish I could have run this month. But no one is going to vote for a Balt with a popped motor lol. Guess ill run in the spring with a built motor . Good luck to everyone running.

I’ve seen a lot of regular cobalts in my area. I’ve seen them with highrise spoilers, big chrome wheels on stock
suspension, dual projector headlights, big mufflers… I noticed maybe they do this because they are working with the non-ss ground effects and don’t really get modding.
Well, this 2.2 looks very, very clean and well done. It’s very personalized. not sure if he Painted the grilles but the contrast seems heightened and looks good. The wheels are a really decent choice, and I’m glad to see the car hunkered down to them correctly. Matching interior dash pieces also seem to fit right in. nothing really clashes with this car. Great photography. The Canadians are winners.

But thanks, I'll definitely do a write up later on today! I love these.
