painted stock 17's

well ive done a few things since my last pics, unfortunatly still no power mods, but looks effin awesome!! i painted the upper grill blacking out that yellow part that went across and holds the bowtie, also removed the lower grill and painted the inner sides of the grill opening. the rear grill thingy was painted black as well. i know for sure i need window tint and that it will prolly set the car off great, but was thinkin about the sc wing with cf center piece? how bout some input.....wing or tint...oh yea...check out the bumble bee that i caught in the last pic...lol...he wanted to be in the photo with my bumble bee cobalt.

yea i tried to keep the lip all the way around and the parts between the spokes polished but it was just to hard to get the tape to be in that perfect circle...i would have been all wavy so i just went all black and im kinda glad i did...some people dont like it...and some do...i effin love it...it looks soo mean

eh...I'll be the lone voice of disent. Don't like it. From a distance it looks like your driving on winter rims. Grill is allright. I'd like to paint my rims silver.

closest pics i have of the grill....nothing for the lower grill...its too dark now....ill get a closer pic of the lower grill tomorrow.....as far as paint....wally world contributed the grey primmer n black spray paint....i had gotten a lil over spray from the primmer on the tires and used paint thinner to get it off.....reason for the primmer was i was afraid the paint wouldnt stick to the polished wheels.....only one comment tho on weather to go with tint or the wing first

That is exactly what I want to do with my rims and grill! Only I have an '05 LS Coupe, not SS. I think it will still look good though.

I don't like the wheels, but I hardly like any black wheels. Reminds me too much of steelies. I prefer GunMetal.
