Pics of my Corolla XRS
Hey all! Just here to show some pics of my Corolla XRS.
At the time I ordered it I was really turned off at GM so I didn't go look at the Cobalt, although I liked the SS S/C'd...their service around here is sub-par to say the least. But now I want one of those pastely-blue Cobalt SS sedans very much.
Here's some pics of what I ended up with: (I just took some pics now...i put my Corolla behind the garage to do some stuff in the garage and a bird or birds **** all over the side like they always do when it's clean!!!! Birds bully my car. They're gonna be in for a treat when I get my new Remington 12 gauge.
Anyway, here's the car:

Thanks for the replies!!
Only 127 pound feet of torque but very light @ only 2650 pounds...MT got one to run 15.4 and trap 91.something...IIRC it's not the quickest 1/4 time..15.0 flat has been achieved but it is rare
My trees drop those so they are everywhere, I have to walk through them all the time..that's only from 1 day of driving.
2ZZ-GE Engine and 6-speed transmission...170 hp, 127 pound feet of torque. Lowered
0.5", sport suspension, re-tuned steering column, rear brakes got upgraded from drum to disc...uhmm...16" wheels with summer performance tires (Michelin Pilot Primacy)
looks good, ive never heard of the corolla xrs, pretty quick?
nice pics, minus the 10 pounds of crap on the interior, always always always clean it before you take pics
any performance mods come with the package besides the transmission?

Was 170 until those new SAE ratings went into effect...same engine as before, just now rated at 164.
nice ride man. any plans for it?
1.) extra weight
2.) draws extra attention to the car from theives and cops...I want a CAI when TRD brings the Injen out...I heard that it dynos at 11-12 WHP gain from the Injen CAI!!!!
I was like BS but I think i remember seeing some dyno charts..i was expecting to see 1-2 hp at most haha.
I wanna do that and find a (good luck) non-ricey exhaust too.
Also:
Rear-window tint
Paint the calipers red
lower it 1"
short throw shifter?
Only mod I got so far is an LCD 2-way alarm with remote starter. And switch to snow tires in the winter, lol.
She needs more torque. I like the 2.4SSs...I wish the rear of the sedans looked more like the Impala with a boxy shape or more like a mini Malibu.
The good thing about that car is if you take care of it the car will last 300,000 miles
cool, lets race!
Variable Valve Timing w/ Lift and Intelligence...I learned that searching around Celica forums last night
I could've gotten a Corolla but for some reason they just turned me off looks wise, I've never seen a modded one before. Actually this whole time I thought the Corolla S was the XRS, damn I actually see they are pretty rare because I've never seen one in person.
