Had to put the SS/SC in storage until March 1st in my Dad's Steel Barn (The size of an Airport Hanger). Saves me $$ and the headaches of making sure that she is protected from the harsh Michigan Winters

Sweet. Myself and two other cobalt owners were talking about how you had 2 Cobalts the other day while eating. Pretty much wished we could afford another one. Good job man. Can't wait for spring to hit. I'm close to getting my car stored now for the winter.

Thanks for the comments.. The LT has heated Leather Seats and XM Radio. Gonna keep her stock with the intent of getting the windows tinted and removed the dealer stickers and license plate frame.

When the SS/SC comes out of storage I am going to have Stage 2 Kit installed. I can't wait

 

Definitely haven't seen many LTs on the road...I'm sure you'll enjoy 'er over the winter . I'll be driving my LS around this winter but thankfully I'll be in a house by January so I can now park it in a garage...our winters are usually as brutal as yours and I don't like the idea of a 1/2 inch of ice forming all over the vehicle .

I'm still undecided about rustproofing it but I still have a bit to consider it...I'm thinking I'm not going to bother but something may change my mind. Yours will come ou in spring all nice and shiny and mine will have about 8 inches of salt on it...must be nice having a barn to store yours in for free .

I've seen a few LTZ Cobalts already. They are the 05 LT rebadged an 06 LTZ. The 06 LT doesn't have the same features like heated leather seats and stuff as the LTZ does stock. You'd have to pay extra

I wiped the dealership floor with this. It was the last 05 Sedan that was an LT. It was 16k and I called my Cousin for GM Discount and $2750 rebates with a 2.9% interest rate was sweet!

Day I came over there to sign for it they were still removing it from the dealership showroom.

 

anyone else notice the rear end of the lt looks alot like a chrysler sebring?

 

Sort of.... without the badges yes.. It's not a Chrysler though

With what? It's a 2.2 it's getting tinted and lowered. Maybe rims, thats it really..

anyone can afford two cars as long as you know your spending limits. I'm working with a $3000 a month budget. I'm paying apartment rent, two car payments & insurance. Not including other things.

the SS/SC (Red One) of course , the sedan would make a good sleeper if I did it up to GM Build Book specs on the L62

Yeah that is a restored John Deere 60 Series Tractor that was built in the mid 50's, my other toy. My Dad and I rebuilt it..
