Sexy BADG1RL!!!!! :-D
i definately will be at all the east coast Hot Import nights next season. i was upset i missed them this year. coverage at FMF was shitty...so i doubt any magazine coverage.
but kenny says..you know you got a hot car when people want to take pics in front of it...lol
the car seriously was the hit of the show and im not just saying that. the girls loved the color, the bling, and the hidden camera mirrors...the guys were all about the engine mods and the interior. its funny how some people liked certain things and picked up on it...like the painted cf we did on the trunk and wing...the camera in the trunk hold...the suede doors, headliner etc. the turbo...

Likes:
1.Fender scops look interesting. Have to see more pics--maybe daylight.
2.hood
Dislikes: colour
Rims
Rear shelf
too much bling over all
I am a purusit. I like going to car shows and seeing all the 60's/70's muscle. Unless the car is very close to stock, I don't look. Of course a Cobalt for a show has to stand out--since there are so many of them.
hey donna....on your mods page you state that you have recovered your seats and its obvious to see that you did. my question for you is how did you do that? was it difficult? does C.A. do that on a regular basis or was it a custom thing for you. my recaros are so damn dirty from just water and want to re do them in black mesh. thanks for all your help.....car looks bomb by the way, whats next? i mean your almost maxed out ther on that car, any plans on doin another GM?
ok well to answer a few questions
1. big brake kit- we are coming out with our own soon. still working on some things but working hard and will install and have pics asap..right now ...well not right now but soon..the car will be hybernating for the winter...so no real rush on other goodies..just refining some things here and there.
2. the seats are purple suede...i actually sent them out to be professionally reupholstered and it cost a shitload...i also have purple stitching as well which was 100 bucks a seat...makes me wish i paid better attention in home economics class. LOL
but anyway...the rear seats fold and the backs are upholstered with silver CF.door panels we did ourselves as well at the trunk enclosure. we will probably redo the trunk though this winter and fiberglass the 27 inch in to the trunk.
I still want the car to be drivable and enjoyable so i dont really plan to go any more nuts then the car is already...but
my new plans are to sell my cavalier and buy a Turbo Solstice..sticking with GM...will also focus on performance and minimal body work..possibly custom kit, rims , and moderate system. you know anything is possible with Cobalt -addiction...

Soltice GXP, those are really sick. I wanted to get one after I totaled my first balt but dealer said like a 7 month wait till they came out or had any. Very good choice, rwd is so fun in a small car with alot of power.
ok, I really like the car, turned out exceptional, but with regards to the last pic she posted, She still looks great after 48 hours of no sleep, probably would look even better if I was the cause of that 48 hours of no sleep but that aint going to happen, so Congrats on the car and the win.
