Ive never seen a tan panel like that before. Its deffinatly supposed to be black or match your interior color.

That is so wrong. You need to go back and get that fixed because it definatly throws off the whole look of the interior.

im not really sure what its called, but its this mount device that u plug into your car lighter, and you can play it through your car stereo. it charges ur stuff up too. i got it from best buy for $90 or so. it fits in either plug really well, and looks pretty nice w/my 60gig video ipod
o another thing, when u have this, any car within a 100 yard distance can listen to your ipod through their stereo lol
its sweet, but the quality isnt the greatest

Tan dash = not normal. Did you order the car or buy it off the lot? If you bought it off the lot what may have happened is another Cobalt had a problem with that panel and they grabbed the panel out of the car that you eventually bought and just never replaced it when you didn't ask about it. If you ordered it then who the hell knows what happened.

my seats are holding up well. call me crazy, but i like the "worn" look that the leather has.
anyway i called my dads dealership, and the dash piece is getting replaced :
that piece has always been in the car it was never swapped, i am the person who actually drove to new jersey where it was sitting in a waiting lot, and picked it up myself to deliver it to the dealership. so i know it wasnt swapped out there. i just think it was a screw up on an early model SS
