SS_Carnatic -- April 2011 FCOTM Submission
Hi everyone,
Thanks for taking a look at my car and supporting the community. I wanted to enter my car in April as this is my BIRTHDAY month, and boy would it be a present to get COTM. Enjoy the pictures and please VOTE for me, SS_carnatic.

Car Info: 2009 Cobalt SS Turbo
Stock Options: LSD, Ebony Interior, Low-Spoiler, Autometer boost gauge, Imperial Blue
Modifications-
Performance:
K&N Drop In Filter.
GM Stage 1.
Hahn Cat-Back exhaust.
3” straight exhaust center section, ceramic coated by Grimmspeed.
Kartboy exhaust hangers.
Genuine Saab shifter bushings.
Exterior:
Enkei gunmetal EKM3 wheels.
50% window tint.
Flat Black painted spoiler.
Flat Black "Grand Sport" fender Strips, (4" - cut above the fender lip)
Custom Flat Blacked-out vinyl trunk, grill surround, and fog-light surrounds, otherwise known as the “SS_carnatic heritage SS mod“ haha.
My trunk is an homage to the 60's chevy SS cars, who's rear panels were painted flat black to signify that they were big block cars.

Debadged trunk with HHR “SS” emblem.

Painted numbers on Shiftknob.
Custom Self-made Stage 1 badge.
WeatherTech Floormats.
Future plans:
GM stage 2?, Straight exhaust

Fender stripes aren't for everyone, but regardless of the pictures, the flat black is actually really subtle over the whole car, its more of a subtle touch.
My Bday is in April, and it is April so I figured I might as well be the first. IDK whats up with the voting.
I drive it throught Minnesota WINTERS so its pretty pointless to lower it unless I want to start my own SNOW plowing business. We had so much snow this year it was ridiculous over 20inches in one storm. If you had to deal with our potholes you wouldn't lower it either. 2 seasons in MN, winter and Road Construction.
I'm going for an homage to the '69 Camaro SS. Back in the day all of the big block CHEVY SS cars were signified with a flat black strip on the year trunk. SEE PICTURES>
