Updates!!
and the exhaust is interchangable, i believe all exhaust on the cobalts can be put on any model, why my friend has a stock ss/sc exhaust on his sedan. no mods done to it and it fits perfectly. dont quote me tho
I like the painted portions, don't like the wingless look. Makes it look so plain, doesn't do much for me. Looks good debadged. BTW, how does that DC Sport exhaust sound and how are the power gains? Got a sound clip?

There is nothing blotchy about the interior, its hwo the light is hitting it. If you look closely its the panels replacement stuff from GM. It looks like that GM stuff you can get as an accessory.
ok ok........... To start off these pics are from a board 30 min at work. These are just the best of that 30min worth of pics. About 30 I took.
1. Hood spacers, yes it does help so
2. The last pick is my girlfriends Caliber, and above the pick it says that.
I posted because in my first pic thread her Caliber was in it. And I'm proud that she's putting money into it.
3. The pics of the gril and interior trim are of the first stages. Ran out of paint and I didn't want to go around with a car that looks like it's being stripped. As of today, the trim is done, looks way better and the grill has yet to be finished.
4. The dc exhaust is just the muffler, the 2.5inch piping is custom. $400 total. Sounds great! It's dumb loud at full throttle/boost. I need to get a camera that can record sound for the sound clips. I can defanatly feel a differance. Besides the one that DC does make for the SS/SC has a 6inch pipe between the muffler and the tip. I didn't like it at all.
5. Lazer
6. I'm working on a bracket for the liscens plate. This was done to see if making a braket would be worth the time. I like it and I'm sticking with it.

On the same line... why not just cut off the whole exhaust... hell... even a sport muffler has restriction... you're losing horsepower there too.
Okay... maybe that was overkill... but you get the point... tuning/modding is great... to a point... then it becomes rice, no matter how functional it is.
So please... please... take the spacers out.

Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of the hood spacers either, but to each his own. I don't like the wingless look either. lol
But yeah, calmb4dastorm, I'd love to hear some sound clips. I wanted to know about the DC sport one for a while. I'd love to hear its sound.
^^Huh? Are you reffering to the antena missing? If so, then I hate the radio. To much talk and not enough rock. lol. But really the dj's talk too damn much. Even xm starting to get that way.
Thank you.
silver street >> And I think that the air box mod is rice but you don't see me ragging on every person that's too cheap to go out and by an intake. Rice is in the "eyes of the beholder" or whatever. It's like saying a hood scoop is rice. Especially if it is functional. True, I can't stand the fact that the hood scoops (majority if not all) that have came on cameros from the factory are there for looks and nothing more. In the defiinition of what's rice, camero hoods would be rice right? But really, this is a debate that'll never end so let's not really go there.
I do respect your opinion tho. I thought that it was weird when I first saw them on a civic a couple years ago, but now I like them. And frankly that's all I care about. Besides I like the confusd look on peoples faces when they think my hood is open or that it opens like a corvette. I get it at least once a day. It entertains me. lol.
