its not a 50hp shot kit. its by dyno tune and its a 125hp 2 stage kit. $599. in stage 1 it uses 50hp dry shot in first gear from 3k rpms to 6k rpms. then stage 2 kicks in in second gear w/ the 50hp dry shot and 75hp wet shot for a total of 125hp.

seriously get a manual. buying an automatic is useless. wh0 the hell wants 25-35% drivetrain loss....... auto is for ppl who r too lazy to learn manual. manual is for real men or real women. i dont mean to talk crap but jeez. manual is cheaper too... what plus is there to an automatic 4cylinders, other than quicker shifting which isnt that great.

also please dont make fun of the supercharged versions by putting on the supercharged spoiler. we dont need nitrous to be fast. it comes naturally.

tell that to the GM race teams with the cobalt 2.2's that run with automatics instead of manual's. power is power no matter where it comes from.

Ever heard of bracket racing?

Its pretty much all 2.2's are good for, unless you have some major power adder

That's where you lost me, people with advanced mechanical engineering degree's still debate that stuff, all I know is that the 2.4 losses about 28hp+/_ 5hp through the drive train, manual or auto. Your figure is rear wheel drive circa 1960's. You only have two benefits to a manual, pick your own gear and better ratio's. When GM makes a decent manual in a compact I'll buy one, not that disorganized grab-asstic piece of crap their trying to push on us.

i just wanted to point out something that he said too by the way. He said something about natural power. Now im not sure but i do believe that boost is not natural power either. my understand natural power is all motor, no boost, no nitrous, just motor
