2.2 turbo questions

im looking at the zzp stage 2 turbo kit
https://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt...=922&catid=143

ok so ive done a lot of reading but i still have some questions, some of which are probably stupid but here goes...

do i have to get anything/do anything different since its a 2.2 instead of a 2.4?
is a turbo manifold considered a "header"?
should i get a 3" catback or a 2.5"?
what internals do i need to upgrade? (i think its cams and rods...)

if you can answer any of these questions it would help a bunch

buddy of mines has a 2.2 on boost and hes making about 302 to the wheels on a stock motor and car has been running now for about 2 years with no problem

go with 3in exhaust if your going boost

i would stick with a 2.5" catback since you wont be boosting a whole lot and your not making a ***** loud of power. a turbo exhaust manifold is what your thinking is a header. theres a few things needed differently. spankeys monkey did a 2.5 so check his build thread out. as far as internals rods and pistons are a must

I believe the LSJ wrist pin is larger than the 2.2's.

I have a stock set sitting around if you need some.

I dont see why you cant press something in to make them fit your wrist pin. Not sure how this would work. 1300? What pistons/rods you wanna go with? Eagle makes rods for your car I thought. Eagle is cheaper than many other companies.

400 for the pistons and 330 for the eagle rods but IDK how good eagle rods are.
