Anybody try running a AGP Zeta 3.0 turbo?

Just wondering? Im going to start piecing together a custom turbo kit over the next year and the turbo i decided to go with is the Zeta 3.0.

It puts out the same power as a gt35r, but spools much quicker.

agp zetas are absolutly awesome. I know quite a few srt's running zeta's. Between the 3.0 and the 3.2. If I keep the car, I am thinking of doing a 3.2 zeta. Its not hard but there water and oil center sections tho.

The 3.2 on a srt has gone 9.80's at 150 lol.

Yea i just want the 3.0 and keep the balt at or below 500whp. lol. From reading about them on SRT4's they seem to be a very competitive turbo. I like to actually drive my car, so a durable turbo is a must.

Have done that in the past. We will not have enough people willing to hop on board to make it worth there while.

I drove my car everyday with the pte turbo and only oil cooling. But the 3.2 is a posibility on my car for sure.

Maybe get a bunch of us to line up - then it could be a possibility. Promising interest is one thing, but having a dozen or so available for a buy might just convince 'em.

Pretty much. My 5857 was on a zzp turbo kit designed around Borg Warner's. as long as its t3 it should be good.

You can get the turbo in twin scroll if you get a twin scroll mani made too.

AGP Zeta 3.0 Ball Bearing - AGP Turbochargers, Inc. Store

Man had to look this thing up because i have never heard of it..damn i want one, one of the reviews says full spool by 3400rpm thats insane. says it has a .63 Vband twin scroll T3 housing not sure if that helps fitment issues or not.

The 3.0 is basically your 5857. I have been told by a company that uses only agp turbos that they use precision wheels on there stuff. They just do other little things to improve them

^ i was looking at that comparing them earlier this morning, rather then spend the extra money for the 3.0 i think my 5857 would outperform it if i went and upgraded the compressor wheel making it a 5862 so i think i could hit my goal of 540whp easily. as i started comparing the two my impulse went away when i noticed i could have a slightly better turbo if i upgrade my 5857. I would also like to coat the housing blk.

A 5862 would have increased lag time

Correct but would make more top end power. The 5857 will make 540 easily the way it is.

love these turbos, currently running twin 3.2's on my vette and they spool up instantly. car is an absolute animal and is still being broken in on low boost. If i still had my cobalt i would def get a 3.0 for sure and maybe a 3.2 if i was going all out.
