Cool Big turbo upgrade but....

Which one??

lets start with Hahn...
Heard nothing but good stuff about them, but visit the web page....http://www.turbosystem.com/ProjectVe...obaltSS-TC.htm but it tells that they are working on stuff.... no pricing no pictures NOTHING useful. I know some people have their turbo kit. Update your page already.

Next Dejon, http://cobalt.dejonpowerhouse.com/ cheap prices till you read the description, and they have you searching all over their web page trying to piece the thing together. It's a kit. put it all in one place and one price. Also, 311whp for the base "upgraded" turbo?? I can do that with the stock one....BUT I will say I have worked with Dejon with my intake and they are great people and will bend over to help you out.

Synapse.... http://www.synapseturbo.com/mm5/merc..._Code=features

good web page everything is listed with a few options new inter-cooler and piping with the kit, custom manifold, HP tuners File for tuning? So, how do I get it tuned? 371whp 383wtq for $4000. COMPLETE kit.

Lastly ZZP.... http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...1160&catid=187
good web page many options to choose from, willing to set your tune anyway you want, ZZ Performance turbo exhaust manifold, BUT no inter-cooler, no charge piping.... 425whp, $3500 about with the recirculated waste gate and select tune. great people to work with huge ++rep.

NOW the problem, I have saved my hard earned $$ $5000 to be exact, got the go from the wife.... I guess the question is.....

piece your own kit together and you will only need 2500.00 or less then your 5000.00 saved.

Garrett turbo!
Tubular manifold!
Tuned HP tuners file!

Synapse

Dejon also has the same kit but with a bigger and better turbo that gives 425hp and its still a bit cheaper than all the rest....but truth be told Synapse was the first kit out and is quite expensive but it is the best made and if you give vince at trifecta a couple data logs i think he might be able to do a little better but that turbo is the best turbo in all of these kits and that is the heart of the whole thing but if you want that externally wastgated sound zzp is the way to go there is pro's and con's to every kit price/quality/reliability hope this helps......

From what I have seen, the Dejon kit has a 16G turbo.

Im down to the ZZP or Synapse....I do like the select tune that ZZp offers so if i did get the synapse I would call vince or maybe if BYT is selling tunes he has trifecta and HPtuners.

From what I know, not a single car has produced except those running ZZP kits.

The track times from ZZP kits are seconds ahead of others, dyno results are consistent and verified at other shops, in car videos make sense, etc. Results are questionable at best with people who have done their own or gone with other vendors for turbo kits.

I'm sold on the ZZP stage 2, like they say Go Fast, Not Broke

Just worried about my 4t45e being able to shoulder the load

Keep it at 10psi and you should be ok.

We have / will have a performance 4t45e out on the site soon. Currently it's install only. Good for 100 HP more than the stock unit.
