Almost no JB turbos are water cooled. The 257sxe spools faster and flows the same as a cast wheel s259, approx 65lb/min

It's only oil cooled.

You would make lines though if it was water. It is pretty easy.

nice. buying all the turbo kit parts from zzp with this turbo is quite a but cheaper than getting their kit with either turbo they sell with the kit. interesting.

is the lnf return coolant port 1/4 npt? seems like the plug I have that size fits it. if not, what is it?

well I'm happy I found a cheaper way to do this. nice. definitely going this way. price is actually a little more expensive than the bigger zfr at zzp buying all the parts seperatly with the s257. I know there are some things I'm missing or will need modding , like intake. hopefully I can mod the k&n intake to work with that turbo. if not, I guess ill get one from zzp.

Pretty sure the coolant bolts aren't NPT fittings, NPT gets larger (tapered) the further from the tip you go which makes them great at self sealing. Afraid I don't know what size that is though.

Well I know they 1/4 inch, cause 1/4 inch plug fits in there. Just normal thread I guess. I'll take it to fastnal and they will tell me what it is. I do have a fitting that will work for the feed port. Nice and easy thanks for the help guys.

Shame tom, Justin Paul Calvin just sold his whole 257 setup for like $2200. He really struggled with traction on his Lnf. Think he made 480whp with it and may have gotten more.

The compressor inlet on this turbo is 3.5". Running a k&n thats a 2.25" isnt worth it

so they are actually both 14mm x 1.5. I find to plug the collant return an new oil drain bolt works perfectly.
