EvoFire's M62 Progress
i will be running the 36's. i am putting the system on stock. the GM flash for the jbodies runs stupid rich. I can get away with a 3.0 pulley before i have to touch the fuel at all. Ill have it HPtuned, and then run bigger injectors, but in order to get it on and used to it, the 36's are plenty.
Alright guys here are some pics. I retaped a few things, and zip tied a few things up a bit better. Realized that i have the need to adjust the belt on the alternator pulley, other then that things are grand. The belt is on the outside 5 pulley on the alt, while on the inside 5 on the blower and the tensioner. Think it will matter much?

I'm liking your port job. I bought a used M62 and was thinking about porting it some what like yours. Also will be closing up the air ports. Did you notice any performance from your porting the M62?
Also you have a HELL of a sleeper!!! Nice job!!!

Lando, I didnt go with the ported one. I traded it to a buddy who would put it to better use. got a stock blwoer and some cash back to help fund the rest of my project. ill pulley down here in a bit, and things will all be well.
So i need one big photoshoot sometime soon.
Yesterday my pops and I installed the heat exchanger. went smooth. reworked the stock bracket from a cobra, and added a bit of our own bracketry. it worked great. I haven't had a chance to log it or anything, and never did before the heat exchanger so i can't tell you a numbers diff in IAT's or anything. It does seem to me however that the boost comes on a bit quicker, and packs more of a punch. numbers (boost) are lower by 1 or 2 psi or so, but that is to be expected.
also my pulley puller showed up today so the 3.0 should be on in a week or so.

generally speaking 550.00 is not alot for a high end 4 cylinder header.......... but its more then what most want to pay, ur not the only one......... and people say i should quit my day job and open a shop, not when i dont have the business to support it lol. its funny cause there are so many people that tell me i should raise my prices, owell no biggie.

So this is the next project for me. I am going to leave there here, and hope that Eric or Thomas can help me figure it all out. I an trying to decide if I want to upgrade the entire line from the fire wall to the rail, or just the hard lines. These are the adaptors LS1-LT1 Fuel Line Adapter Tube Fitting - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop that are available. Would it be more benificial for me to upgrade the rubber lines too? Here are a few pictures of where the adaptors would be.

I have 2 spare fuels rail that I would tap a fitting into, or weld it onto, and the AFPR I have should accomodate an adaptor of some sort.
So what do you guys think?

Well, I have purchased a few parts the past month or so. I have the prototype spring caps to the B&G front strut mounts that never happened. Might be getting the entire set of mounts soon. I bought a new reservoir to make my own "option b" but mine will be flow through, and not just a bleeder/overflow tank. I also ordered a new oversized pulley from ZZP for my tensioner. I aquired HPT with 4 credits (split the cost with a friend), I aguired 8, 60 lbs injectors, of which 4 belong to m2. and last but not least, i will be putting my 3 inch pulley on this weekend.
