ok ive started putting together my turbo setup... saab manifold and turbo from a wrx. now im getting the rest of the parts. do i have to use 42# injectors or can i use the stock ss/sc injectors? i plan on using a cxracing h/e and piping. and most likely a tial bov. but here is my question... can you still use the maf with the turbo? if so that means i need the piece from zzp. next question is how do i run the hose from the valvecover to the tubing? will i need a different map sensor with the turbo? everything i read contradicts the last thing i read. so if anyone can help me pretty soon it would be nice as im ordering stuff today

o btw im only a 2.2 lap

Ok.....
42s are a good idea unless you dont plan on running more than about 6psi boost.

You have to use the MAF.

You dont need the piece frome ZZP unless you are unable to mount is some other way, if you could find a GMPP intake tube that would work too... ZZP isnt the only option is all I am saying

The hose from the valvecover goes to the same place as it always has, in the fresh air stream after the MAF preferably. You MAY want to run a catch can on it with a turbo though, not strictly necessary, but people like to do that to keep oil off the compressor wheel.

No, you dont NEED a different MAP sensor. some people use them, others dont. Best thing to do would be to ask your tuner (Vince is my guess) what his or her preferences are when it comes to that.

dang dont give me a heart attack i finally got useful information. i already have the gmpp intake so everything is good to go. i will get 42's instead of the sc injectors and keep everything else... and get a hold of vince. ok on the bov i can get a kit from cxracing that it clamps in to the tubing then the bov connects to that. guages i need a wideband, boost, and what else? oil pressure??? a few fittings got that covered but i need someone who has done this before to tell me what fitting i need for the galley on the block. and where do i return the oil to? also how do i mount the ic?

your more then likely going to have to make some kind of brackets for it unless they are pre-supplied by thecompany.

the size itnercooler all depends on your size turbo..... to big of an intercooler will take long to fill up, to small wont be efficiant for the turbo. ask the company you get your turbo from what size is recommended.

your BOV will be recirculation or a atmospheric?

if running recirculation your MAF will be before the turbo and after your filter. give a 4'' straight before and after you MAF.

if running a atmoshpheric, the MAF will before your trottle body and after your BOV

Marc had stalling issue because is was running a atmos BOV. but his MAF was before turbo

MArc customs a recirculation hose via a atmospheric BOV and the car run perfect since that
he gives some straight before and after his MAF

it was me that reflashed it
he is running 42s with 8 psi
