OK
So I have been looking into this and come to the conclusion that it is a much more practical idea for a DD than doing a turbo swap.

I currently am running Stage 1 (right from the stealership) and a Fujita F5 intake

So my question is what kind of cooling mods would I need, I don't know much about Meth injection but the whole idea of it seems a bit tempermental for a DD, plus I have a custom audio setup in the trunk that a bottle for the Meth would just not blend in with, are there any other options, sorry I am new to the whole supercharger thing.

Would my current injectors work or do I need new ones?
At the Harop site, they offer a throttle body for the LSJ's, this would be the proper one for this blower?
Would I (not that I dont plan on it, sometime down the road but I just want to know yhow much $$ I have to come up with at once) need to put a catback system on before the blower goes on?

Last Q, nobody seems to agree on the the final HP gains, but would a 100 HP gain (blower, throttle body and of course a good tune) be a safe estimate?

mid to upper 300's with small pulley and supporting mods with proper cooling.

As for power curve, the torque is better and longer than the lil M62. Take this from a tester.

do NOT just slap the tvs on there w/o supporting mods (i.e. cooling, injectors and exhaust)

your pistons will hate you

My motor is stock (including pistons) and all I had was airbox mod, 2.5 catback, h/e, 60# inj., and made 288whp/264tq on an 80mm pulley. Pistons are fine with proper tuning

So there was still some room for growth with your set up, correct?

agreed. with half the money you could make twice as much power on the stock blower... obviously the tvs has a lot more motential, but if you arent going to utilize it then its just a waste of money. just my 2 cents.

How much PSI does the Harrop crank out with the 3.1" pulley on average? I know it's all CFM's, but I am curious reguardless. I am also very jealous of your setup as always.

I have a couple ?'s about the TVS that you could answer, that is if you want to answer them. What kind of Gas milage do you get with the TVS and what kind of psi does it turn out, both are important to me due to the fact its my DD. 2nd, I saw this debated in another thread, and I feel like I'm asking a noob question, but do the elevated intake temps come just from the higher psi of compression of the air into the intake manifold over stock or is it because the supercharger itself is rotating faster and generating heat that way? And it's because of the faster rotation, and the TVS displaces more air per rotation (1.3 vs 1.0), which needs less rotations than stock to move the same amount of air, does that make for lower intake temps and then you don't necessarily need to run the water/meth injection. I'm curious because I'm considering either modding the stock setup, putting on the Harrop in about the same setup you have, or just saying screw it and getting the ss/tc! thanks man! I would like to make similar numbers to yours and not have to run meth if possible

i get around 30-32 mpg mixed highway but mostly city... you dont really need meth but if you want over 300whp then you should get it. you will see about 20psi

i'd love to run near 300whp with minimal issues with the potential to do more to it if needed. The gas milage is part of that, because if it were to get poor gas milage with the TVS, and I can run similar horsepower with the SS/TC and still maintain the gas milage, then that's just another long term cost I'm going to have to look at. Thanks man. I saw your setup on youtube by the way, awesome, so if you have any other knowledge you'd like share on that setup as to how reliable it's been, how many miles you have on it, I'm ears. if anyone else has anything that would help, please, bring it!
