Hi I feel more and more drawn to the Cobalt SS/SC, though I do have 1 question. How loud is the the SC on the Cobalt? I heard it sounds awesome but haven't heard it yet in person and so I'm just wondering how noticable it really is. I'll try to test drive one on monday but want to hear it from u guys.

Yo , stock the car wont be loud at all. However as soon as you drop in a K&N filter or a cold air intake itll become super loud. They said it even louder than a Cobra on the dyno.
Check out this video made by modernperformance.com The K&N CAI is out also. Im sure youll go for the cobalt asa you ehar this babe.

That is what my SS sounds like and I went a step further and cut the filter box off below the sensor and mounted a K&N filter and wha la CAI. It sounds mean and is a real head turner.

 

When I took my test drive I could make out the whine. For a stock car its LOUD. With some intake and muffler upgrades this car will sound "almost" exotic. Great clip. I will look at the intakes when I can see real dyno number etc.

 

You should hear one with the psifi kit and CAI... makes one with just the CAI sound quiet !
