Its very based on power, Each turbo produces different amounts of power. Set a Hp goal, seems like 250 is the LIMIT.

Stock internals can handle about 7 psi. It might seem low but remember, boost does not equal power. Boost is just the restriction of air. 7 psi will yield close to the same results as a stock LSJ, depending on how well it's tuned.

i know. im just saying different compressors will make different power at the same PSI. This goes for different sized turbos as well. It depends which turbo he is gonna use.

Depends how he drives. He can have it over 250 but not be on it a lot or the rods will say see ya later

I was going to build my motor up but then i saw an SS i really like for sale so all my focus is on getting rid of my car and buying that SS. lol

well, if its over 250 and you cant "be on it alot", then that may be to mcuh stress during a quarter mile run? Id have to take it to the track and do a couple speed runs, etc.

Prolly take a good solid weekend of work to put the supercharger/turbo kit on Im assuming?

Im in the process of selling all my honda **** so i should be sitting on about $1K. soo, if i cant get a used supercharger kit / turbo kit im gonna get that and see what I can do.

A 250hp 2.2 auto should be somewhat fun and quick.

ehh. im not worried about it being auto. Id just want to do a few 1/4 mile runs. so consitency is the issue.

Plus i do alot of driving late at night, when im dead tired, and wouldnt be able to deal with 5spd. I know that for a fact.

yea, there are definatley times i hate the auto. but seeing as how im a base model, it would be pointless for me to trade it in. Its literally worth nothing. SO i wanna supercharge/turbo just to have a fun little DD. then someday down the road get a sportbike or a faster car ( SS/TC, MS3, WRX) to have some fun with.

You don't have a base model otherwise it would be a five speed. Automatic is a 1k option

i hammer on this thing daily... lol
im sure the stock rods can take it, but yes, i am at what I consider to be the safe limit of our cars. 283bhp is a lot fr nitrous..and like i said, ive seen near 300whp (so 330bhp-ish) on stock rods. I would never reccomend that, as im sure they wouldnt last more than a week. But if they can take it at 330bhp, 265bhp seems pretty damn safe for consistant runs.
